We had a fantastic stay at this lovely retreat in Margate. The room was clean, modern, and had a breathtaking view of the bay. The hosts, Barry and Jan, were thoughtful and welcoming, even leaving us wine and chocolate upon our arrival. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and a pleasant half-hour stroll into town. We would highly recommend this place for a couple's getaway.
The breakfast offerings could be improved.

The whole stay was amazing! the Annex was spotlessly clean and had a fresh, modern vibe. the parking was great and it was a pleasant half-hour stroll to town. We loved the thoughtful touch of the notebook with recommended places to eat, and we tried an Indian restaurant that was fantastic. the views from the property were incredible, and we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the scenery.
The room temperature was a bit too warm for our liking, it felt like sleeping in a sauna. It would have been nice to have more ventilation options, as the windows opened onto the street and couldn't be left open all night.

The St Mildreds Bay Annex Retreat provided a clean and modern accommodation with stunning views of the sea. The off-road parking was convenient, and the property was within walking distance of the town or a short taxi ride away. The thoughtful welcome bottle of wine, milk, and snacks in the fridge added a nice touch to the stay.
I found the room temperature to be uncomfortably hot, like trying to sleep in a sauna. Despite the large doors/windows opening onto the street, they couldn't be left open all night for ventilation.
